MapMid

MapMid calculates a spherical midpoint, applies only drive limits that actually bind, then ranks nearby places by average travel, fairness, limit overage, distance from the active center, and available rating data.

GPS is used only after you tap the location button. Typed location searches are sent to Nominatim only when you press Set/Search. MapMid does not use Nominatim autocomplete.

OpenStreetMap, Overpass and public OSRM services can be unavailable or rate-limited. MapMid falls back to clearly labeled estimates instead of crashing.
